Research & Clinical Leadership
Professor Simon Lewis is a Neurologist who has sub-specialised in degenerative diseases of the brain including Parkinson’s Disease, Dementia with Lewy Bodies and related conditions.
He works as a Clinical Academic seeing patients and conducting research to improve our understanding and treatment of these brain disorders.
The Shake It Up Australia Foundation, with their partners The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, are the largest non-government funders of Parkinson’s research across multiple institutes in Australia. It is only through international collaboration that we will find a cure for Parkinson’s.
